CITY SIGHTS

Lawang Sewu

A former Dutch office building in Semarang, the name “Lawang Sewu” means “a thousand doors”. The building is rich in history with its  historical significance dating back to the early 1900s. Lawang Sewu is a historical and architectural icon of the city of Semarang.

Sam Poo Kong Temple Complex

One of the oldest Chinese temples in Indonesia, this temple was established by the Chinese Muslim explorer, Cheng Ho. The complex spans a massive 3.2 hectares, a great place to explore and observe.

Semarang Old Town
